Kabir Khan’s cricket drama ’83’ has opened up relatively lower than expected in India.
According to Box Office India data, the film’s first day was dented by disappointing business in UP and Maharashtra. It garnered around Rs. 14 crore nett. On Christmas Day (Saturday), the film is expected to collect a bigger amount but again its figures will be impacted by cinema closures.
The film is also expected to witness competition from the success of ‘Spiderman’ and ‘Pushpa’.
