Box Office: ‘2.0’ crosses Rs. 500 crore in global business

Akshay Kumar and Rajinikanth’s sci-fi thriller, ‘2.0’ has crossed the Rs. 500 crore mark in worldwide business within just a week of its release.

Karan Johar, who is presenting the Hindi version of the film, took to Twitter to announce the news. He said, “A box office PHENOMENA!!!! 500 crores worldwide!!!!! We at @DharmaMovies are so proud to be associated with the HINDI version of this movie marvel!!!!”

The Hindi version of the film has garnered Rs. 132 crore and stands as the eighth biggest hit of 2018 so far. The film has also become the second highest grossing Hindi dubbed film, beating ‘Baahubali: The Beginning’. It has collected Rs. 117 crore at the box office. Last year, its record was beaten by its sequel ‘Baahubali 2: The Conclusion’ made Rs. 511 crore.
