‘Border’ stars to celebrate film’s 20th anniversary
J P Dutta’s super hit film ‘Border’ (1997) will mark its 20th anniversary on 13th June. And to mark the occasion, the producers are planning a bash for the cast and the crew of the film on 11th June.
The war drama that starred Sunny Deol, Akshaye Khanna, Suniel Shetty, Akshaye Khanna and Jackie Shroff in lead roles, was a runaway success upon its release and continues to be “a special film” in Dutta’s career, reports Times of India.
According to reports, they will be showcasing unseen footage and behind-the-scenes videos at the reunion. The producers are also planning to put together a coffee table book to be presented as memento to the cast.
‘Border’ was based on the Battle of Longewala during the India -Pakistan war of 1971.
