Boney Kapoor gets threat calls

Filmmaker Boney Kapoor has been receiving threatening calls, which he has alerted the police about.

Times Of India reports that an unidentified person called up Kapoor and threatened to shoot him down in his house. “You got my men arrested and now you have to face the consequences,” he was told.

It all stems back from a year ago when Kapoor’s house was ramsacked with valuables worth Rs 6 lakh allegedly stolen. Two persons were arrested in the case.

Confirming the incident, senior inspector Nasir Pathan said: “The investigation is on and the anti-extortion cell is also conducting a parallel inquiry.”
