Boney Kapoor breaks down at IFFI after talking about Sridevi

After the sudden demise of Sridevi in February, Boney Kapoor hasn’t been such much in public. He has kept himself away from events as the grief-struck filmmaker continues the mourn the death of his beloved wife and actress.

Despite the loss, Kapoor has found solace in his children, with a pillar of support from son, Arjun Kapoor. Talking about his family, an emotional Boney addressed the media at IFFI about his children. He was asked about how his children have bonded so well since Sridevi’s death. He said, “I was going through a phase where I didn’t know what was happening and the children coming together gave me a lot of strength to cope up with the situation we were facing. I couldn’t have asked for more. For a parent, children come first and seeing all my 4 children together was….kind of a balming effect after the tragedy.”

Sridevi passed away on 24th February 2018 in Dubai after accidental drowning.
