In its observation, the court said, Udta Punjab is a movie depicting the drug menace based in a place. There is no mention of the word censor۪ in board. Board should use its powers as per Constitution and Supreme Court۪s directions.”

‘Udta Punjab’ has been wrangled in a plethora of controversy after CBFC Chief ordered around 89 cuts including censoring ‘Punjab’ references.
