Bombay HC stays FIR against Kapil over illegal construction

Away from the controversy surrounding ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’, comedian Kapil Sharma is facing further turmoil after the Bombay High Court stayed the FIR against him over allegations of illegal construction at his Goregaon flat.

According to Hindustan Times, Sharma and fellow actor, Irrfan Khan to respond to the allegations made by Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation. Furthermore, the parties have five weeks to resolve the issue.

The report adds that the court directed the corporation to grant Sharma a personal hearing in the matter.
