It is very much a story that has gripped not only the sub-continent’s but the world’s population. Just over an hour ago, news emerges that the 23-year-old – known as Damini and also Amanat – who was gang-raped by six men on a moving bus in Delhi sadly passed away in Singapore, 13 days after she was first admitted to hospital in Delhi.

B-town stars have been very vocal about the case from the start. Here is what the reaction was on Twitter from some well-known names upon the news of Damini’s death.

Amitabh Bachchan:��’Amanat’, ‘Damini’ just a name now .. her body has passed away, but her soul shall shall forever stir our hearts !!!
