Bollywood dominates 9th Mirchi Music Awards

Radio Mirchi held their 9th Mirchi Music Awards on Saturday 18th February, which was graced by Shaan, Badshah and other great musicians, lyricist and singers from the industry.

Reported in Pinkvilla, Bollywood celebrities such as Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt and Anushka Sharma also attended the ceremony, adding some B-town sparkle and entertainment for the audience.

Dhawan and Bhatt who are both in the midst of promoting their next ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’ turned up twinning in black on the red carpet. Dhawan’s attire was a black kurta and trousers, whilst Bhatt looked stunning in a black top and flowy skirt.

Sharma rocked up in an edgy gold and back brocade blazer teamed with shimmery wide leg trousers.

The trio each have a busy line up this year. For Dhawan and Bhatt, ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’ will make it their hatrick release, and then Dhawan will concentrate on his forthcoming film ‘Judwaa 2’, where he will play a double role opposite Jacqueline Fernandez and Tapsee Pannu.

Bhatt will go onto ‘Gully Boy’ which sees her for the first time opposite Ranveer Singh. Sharma’s next will be ‘Phillauri’, a film she is also producing and stars Diljit Dosanjh, Suraj Sharma and Mehreen Pirzada.
