BOL TV parent company CEO arrested
BOL TV’s parent company, Axact is embroiled in controversy after its CEO Shoaib Sheikh and his deputy, Waqas Atiq were arrested in an alleged multi-million dollar fraud selling fake university degrees online.
Both Sheikh and Atiq will appear in court later this week. Over the past few days, the company is being investigated after thousands of blank degree forms, student cards and authentication documents were found. Axact has strongly denied the allegations.
BOL TV is expected to begin broadcasting in Pakistan mid-June to coincide with Ramadan.
