Popular channels, Star Gold and Sony Entertainment Television Asia have confirmed to BizAsia.co.uk that they will be telecasting two mega blockbusters of this year, next month.

Star Gold will be telecasting the World TV Premiere of ‘Bodyguard’, which is one of the biggest grossers at the India box office. The film, which released end of August, stars Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor.

‘Bodyguard’ is directed by Siddique. ‘Bodyguard’ is a remake of the director۪s own 2010?s Malayalam film by the same name, ‘Bodyguard’, this film is being produced by Atul Agnihotri.

‘Bodyguard’ will premiere on Star Gold on Saturday 12th November at 20:00.

Similarly, Sony TV has scheduled Yash Raj Films’ superhit ‘Mere Brother Ki Dulhan’ for November too. The romantic comedy starring Imran Khan, Katrina Kaif and Ali Zafar will be shown on Sunday 20th November at 20:00. ‘Murder 2’, which premiered earlier this month on the channel, will be repeated on Sunday 27th November at 17:00.

All Hindi entertainment channels are turning to Bollywood blockbusters to push their ratings. It worked a treat earlier this year for Star Gold with the premiere of ‘Singham’ and for Colors with ‘Dabbang’.
