Bobby Friction joins BBC Asian Network

Bobby Friction has joined the BBC Asian Network to present the Album Chart Show. Bobby brings with him a wealth of music expertise and is already part of the BBC family through his work on Radio 1. Bobby will present the Album Chart show starting Saturday 2nd April, which is a rundown of the top 20 albums in British Asian music. The show is broadcast Saturdays between 1300 – 1500

Also joining the scene is Markie Mark, who again is no stranger to the BBC and with his wealth of knowledge in Asian music, he’ll present Breakdown every Sunday between 12 – 2pm. Breakdown is a show playing some of Bhangras biggest hits. There’ll also be monthly specials with comprehensive interviews telling the stories of some of the genres biggest artists, labels and characters.
