Rishi Kapoor it seems, never is too far from controversy. The latest is that the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), has filed a complaint about the actor for cutting down a tree at his home, more than he had agreed.
As Bollywood Hungama reports, Kapoor had asked permission from the corporation to cut part of the tree. Apparently, where the BMC only allowed him to take off 6 branches, the actor went and cut the tree down to its bark. Examining this, the BMC filed a complaint under the Section 155 of the Code of Criminal Procedure and Maharashtra (Urban Areas) Protection and Preservation of Trees Act, and have requested for the matter to get looked into.
However Kapoor has hit back stating how he put the responsibility for the act under a construction worker whom he hired for the job. Therefore he has stated that he will be investigating into what the constructor did, and if he finds that he did not stick to the agreement, then he will be taking further action himself.
