BizAsia teams up with UK Asian TV Awards 2014
The UK’s only Asian media news website, BizAsia has joined hands for the first ever UK Asian Viewers’ Television Awards (AVTA), which take place later this year.
As revealed exclusively on BizAsia, the Asian TV Awards will be held at a prestigious venue in London in October. AVTA is the brainchild of Rajan Singh, formerly of Star TV and now heading Digi Media Global.
AVTA will be fully interactive with viewers choosing winners from a shortlist of nominations, which again viewers will choose. The award categories include Best Entertainment Channel, Best Music Channel, Best News Channel, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actors and Lifetime Achievement Award, amongst others.
BizAsia will be the official Online Media Partner for AVTA 2014, which will break exclusive news updates ahead of the event. As well as news, BizAsia will inform viewers first of nominees and stars performing at the black-tie event.
