BizAsia partners up exclusively with ‘Mrs Kapoor’s Daughter’s Wedding’

BizAsiaLive.com has been named the exclusive digital partner of the blockbuster stage drama ‘Mrs Kapoor’s Daughter’s Wedding’, which returns for a UK-wide tour for the third year running, this April.

After a sell-out UK tour in 2019, the Bollywood-inspired, British Asian stage spectacle, once again is set to entertain audiences young and old with an intimate invite into a typical Asian household as it prepares for a wedding in the family, with all the Bollywood trimmings.

Hailed as one of the best British Asian theatre productions of recent years, championed by audiences and critics alike, Mrs Kapoor’s Daughter’s Wedding returns with 14 performances, on a UK tour in Birmingham, Manchester, Leicester, Milton Keynes and London- Croydon, High Wycombe and Hayes following its unprecedented popularity.

Uniting onstage YouTube sensation Parle Patel; Comedian Darshan Varsani, West End singer Shahid Abbas Khan; Mrs Kapoor’s Daughter’s Wedding is a laugh out loud, comedy-dance production for a family audience that follows the life of Mrs Kapoor, played by Parle Patel, who is mother to five daughters, one of whom is getting married.

Audiences are taken on a kaleidoscopic journey in true Bollywood style, with hearty measures of romance, drama, comedy and action, through the highs and lows of a typical Asian wedding, from the first family arguments to the emotional witnessing of the couple’s first dance. Mrs Kapoor’s Daughter’s Wedding presents the rollercoaster melodrama of the big, fat Indian wedding, meticulously transferred from home to stage.

Raj Baddhan, Co-Founder of BizAsiaLive.com said, “Its a privilege for BizAsia to be collaborating with Mrs Kapoor’s Daughter’s Wedding. Not only is the production hugely entertaining, it has done tremendously well in the UK during its previous two tours. We’re proud to be partnering up with such a brand.”
