New to BizAsia.co.uk is our weekly column Biz Bitch. We’ll be scouting around for silly blunders in UK Asian TV, radio and press and bringing them to you.

We’re watching and listening closer than ever to keep certain organisations on their tod! If you spot anything out of place, the time is here now to name and shame…The Biz Bitch!

Maya Mistry must thank her stars… Someone’s beaten her in the ‘terrible’ department on the ‘Bollywood Top 20’ on Sunrise…last evening, a fake Suzi Mann took the show to a new-found low…screaming kindergarten links into the microphone (“Did you know that Bollywood churns out more films than any other country?” she asked bewildered), the imposter rolled out one random track after another only to realise that she had completed the show well before 19:00 (talk about planning or the lack of it!)…so she had to kill
the remaining time spinning additional tracks from two albums and an
arbitrary request from another album!

The biggest anticlimax? A technical glitch just before the so-called No.1 song…doesn’t matter when the entire show is a glitch in itself!
