Who can forget the iconic pairing of Rohan Raichand (Roshan) and Poo Sharma (Kapoor Khan) in ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’ (2001). They set the screen on fire with their sizzling chemistry and witty one-liners. They complimented the all-star cast which included Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol. Thereafter they worked together in ‘Yaadein’ (2001) and ‘Mujse Dosti Karoge’ (2002) but haven’t done any more films since.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan
Making their pair debut together in ‘Dhoom 2’ (2006), the film became a huge commercial success for the franchise and for Roshan and Rai Bachchan who both won awards respectively. They reunited once again in the epic historical love story of ‘Jodhaa Akbar’ (2008) which became another blockbuster hit for the pair and earned Roshan several awards for Best Actor. They returned two years later with ‘Guzaarish’ (2010), however this film didn’t fare well the box office.
Katrina Kaif
The super hit ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’ (2011) was the duo’s first film together; introducing a fresh new pairing into the mix. Three years later they were back to entertain the masses in the action-comedy ‘Bang Bang!’ (2014) giving fans another stellar performance, confirming why they are so appreciated together onscreen.
Shah Rukh Khan
Though they have only ever done one movie together, it would be wrong not to include the Roshan-Khan pairing in ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’ (2001) which was also another first. The film showcased a strong bond between two siblings, despite not being related biologically. Both Khan and Roshan gave fantastic performances on screen, displaying a range of emotions in this much-loved family drama.
Tiger Shroff
Shroff has always idolised Roshan as an actor and dancer from a young age, so it was a dream come true for him when the chance came along to star alongside his all-time hero in ‘War’ (2019), which became one of the highest grossing films at the tail end of the decade. Not only did they mirror each other with their physical appearance and fancy footwork, it was evident to see the efforts that went into each of their performances to make this a great watch.
