Bipasha Basu talks about “humiliating” experience in ‘Humshakals’

Bipasha Basu was very vocal about her film ‘Humshakals’ before the film released, making clear that she wanted to disassociate herself from the project. Recently, whilst promoting her forthcoming ‘Creature 3D’, the actress gave a further insight about how she felt the experience working in ‘Humshakals’ was humiliating.

“It’s been the most humiliating experience of my life. It’s really humiliating to be on a set like that. I have nothing against the film. I’ve not seen the film. I don’t know the story of the film. I just know I had a six-minute role. I knew I was there on time every day. I would be kept late on the set sometimes without doing any shots. I never said a word. I finished my dubbing obediently. I did everything that I was told to do except promote the film,” she divulged.

Basu continued, “In the process of working you can become part of bad films. In life you do films which are not good, which are not a good experience and still you get something good out of it. With Humshakals, I have had no good experience. It was the most frustrating couple of months of my life. So much so that one day after pack up, I cried in front of my mother and my mother has never seen me like this.”

Basu has said she will never work with director Sajid Khan again and, in turn, producer Vashu Bhagnani has said he would prefer not to work with her again either.
