Not ready to take the heat after the court upheld Balaji�۪s contention that cricketer-turned-actor Salil Ankola had violated his contract with them, Sony TV has evicted him from sets of ��Bigg Boss�۪.

A statement issued by the channel said, “We were shocked to hear of Salil Ankola�۪s prior commitments and contractual obligations from media reports.

On confirmation that these news reports were true and that the court had restrained Salil Ankola from appearing on any television show other than the one he is under contract for, the channel took necessary steps as he was in violation of his contract with Sony Entertainment Television. Salil has therefore been evicted from the ��Bigg Boss�۪ house.”]
