‘Bigg Boss 11’ extension scrapped due to Salman Khan’s dates?

The hugely successful ‘Bigg Boss 11’ series will not be given an extension as host Salman Khan is unable to commit to dates post the finale, scheduled for 14th January 2018.

The reality show was expected to be given a month-long extension but Khan has other work lined up, dashing hopes of broadcaster, Colors, who was hoping to cash in on the show’s success further.

A source told Pune Mirror, “The plan was to continue till February with a few more wildcards, but Salman has another reality show lined up. The third season of Dus Ka Dum will air around May on Sony TV. He also has shoots in Dubai and Abu Dhabi for Race 3, so there will be no extension for Big Boss.”

‘Bigg Boss 11’ has eight contestants left, which means a few surprise eliminations are being planned to evict some of the as quick as possible.
