Big Hitter finds British Asian Cricketer of 2009

Readers of popular cricket magazine, Big Hitter are being given the opportunity to vote for who they thought was the most impressive British Asian cricketer in 2009.

All players of Asian heritage, who are England-qualified, are eligible and have been chosen for nomination on their performances for England and in county cricket this year.

There are a whole host of worthy nominees ranging from Ravi Bopara, for his three Test centuries, to Mark Ramprakash, for his outstanding county form, and 18-year-old Azeem Rafiq in his debut Championship season with Yorkshire and captaincy of England Under-19s.

Voting is currently underway at www.bighittermag.com.

The winner will be announced on the Big Hitter website in January and be featured in a subsequent issue of Big Hitter magazine the ultimate Asian cricket magazine.
