Big B talks about Aaradhya helping him cut birthday cake

The birthday party of the year took place just two days ago for the superstar that is Amitabh Bachchan, who turned 70. Attended by the who’s who of the film fraternity, the event was very much a glitzy affair. Bachchan talks about the night with much detail, also revealing that his granddaughter helped him cut his cake.

“…Its entire credit must go to Jaya for conceptualising it and bringing it to fruition ��_ the icing on the cake being the first public outing for Aaradhya as she helped me with her tender soft hand in cutting the ritual cake, ” Bachchan wrote on his blog.

Bachchan also stated his feelings towards birthday celebrations, “Birthdays are a momentous occasion in the lives of all of us. It was no different for me yesterday. We get the love and affection of our friends and well wishers, but for me the most important has always been the care and blessings of our parents”.

Bachchan also��revealed that the traditional ‘Happy Birthday’ was not sung as it��is��a tradition which his father, Harivansh Rai Bachchan, didn’t approve of.
