Big B, Salman & Akshay make Forbes’ highest paid global celebs list

According to the Forbes’ titled ‘��Celebrity 100: The World�۪s Top-Paid Entertainers 2015’, Bollywood stars Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar as well as Indian cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni are among the highest-paid global celebrities.

Bachchan and Khan have tied at the 71st position, with earnings of 33.5 million dollars, and Kumar has made the 76th spot. Dhoni is at the 82nd rank. The list’s top spot went to Floyd Mayweather, American boxer.

Forbes said, “The result is a more accurate reflection of the current entertainment landscape, a 21st century reality where Bollywood�۪s biggest stars (Salman Khan and Amitabh Bachchan, USD 33.5 million apiece) earn more than some Hollywood��A-listers (Leonardo DiCaprio and Channing Tatum, USD 29 million apiece)”.

Shah Rukh Khan, quite surprisingly, didn’t make the top 100 and neither did any other personality of the Bollywood film fraternity.
