Big B is back with sixth edition of ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’

BizAsia can confirm that India’s answer to ‘Who wants to be a millionaire?’ – ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ – is all set to return for a sixth time with none other than the superstar host himself, Amitabh Bachchan.

The 69-year-old has��expressed��on Twitter, “KBC meet went off well… cannot imagine it all started 12 years ago in 2000…” Bachchan stepped up as host when the show was first adopted by India. It has since been immensely popular and has been hosted by Big B for four out of five seasons.

Bachchan tweeted further that the opening episode had 22 million viewers and a total of 16.5 crores in prizes have been won. Bachchan’s formidable and charismatic style has undoubtedly��further added to the popularity of the show and we are certain that the��next season��will revive the same excitement in the audiences as previous seasons have.
