‘Bidaai’ & ‘Yeh Rishta…’ to extend on STAR Plus

STAR Plus’ two top rated shows ‘Bidaai’ and ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ are being extended to five-days a week.

Earlier the channel said it was making both shows seven-days to run throughout the week, including weekends. However, it has now retracted its decision as it will take a toll on the entire cast and crew of the shows.

Starting this week in India, both shows will air Monday through to Friday. UK viewers will see the change next month.

Recently, STAR Plus has taken a knock in the ratings with Colors outperforming the former numero uno channel. ZEE TV too has dislodged STAR Plus from the number two position but only on two occasions recently.
