There has been much said about Rajan Shahi’s ‘Sapna Babul Ka Bidaai’ second season and the latest we’re hearing is that the sequel will air on the new look of Star One – Star Desh.
The sequel has tentatively been titled ‘Amrit Dhara’ and will again revolve around two sisters. However, the entire story line and cast will be different.
According to TellyBuzz, Adaaa Khan who essayed Akashi in Star Plus’ ‘Behenein’ has been roped in as lead of the show. The other lead however, is a new face to TV. Waseem Mushtaq, who was last seen in Colors’ ‘Bhagyavidhaata’ will play the male lead, opposite Adaaa. He will portray the role of an army officer.
Star One is expected to be transformed into Star Desh in September.
