Bhushan Kumar to co-produce ‘Bhoothnath 2’

It was reported that Ravi Chopra’s son, Abhay, had plans to revive his late grandfather BR Chopra’s production banner, with the sequel of the Amitabh Bachchan starrer ‘Bhoothnath’. News has it that Bhushan Kumar has now been roped in to co-produce the film.

Times of India��report the head of T-Series confirming, “T-Series will co-produce ‘Bhootnath 2’. I share a sentimental relationship with Ravi, who hasn’t been keeping too well. I really wanted to do something to help revive the iconic BR Chopra.”

Talking about the film in question, Kumar goes onto explain about approaching Bachchan, “We approached Amit-ji with the script and he liked it. He instantly agreed to return to the character that he had enjoyed playing in the first place. With the sequel, we plan to convert the film into a franchise, and the sequel will largely focus on Amitabh’s character and his relationship with the kid, whose part hasn’t been finalised yet.”
