Bhushan Kumar says Ranbir Kapoor in “new avatar” in ‘Roy’

Producer Bhushan Kumar is getting geared up for his next film, ��Roy�۪, the trailer of which was unveiled this week. Starring Ranbir Kapoor as the character called Roy, Kumar has said it is a new avatar for him.

According to Deccan Chronicle, Kumar spoke about Kapoor�۪s role, ���Ranbir Kapoor’s role in Roy is something that he hasn’t done so far. Roy will showcase him in a new avtaar and he plays a title role. Its a ‘special role’ and he has already banked bytes for TV channels during the making of Roy. We wont require him to get into aggressive promotions of the film. So he wont be traveling with us for promotions.�۝

���He has assured that he will publicise the film as and when we want. But right now, like Aamir’s PK, we want to retain a few elements of Ranbir’s role in Roy until the release of the film for the audience,�۝ Kumar added.

Kapoor gave a surprise in ��PK�۪ with a cameo which wasn�۪t known about up until the film�۪s release ��� in typical Aamir Khan style.

��Roy�۪ also stars Arjun Rampal and Jacqueline Fernandez.
