Bharti Singh and her husband Harsh Limbachiyaa are being questioned by the anti-drugs agency, Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) after a “small quantity of cannabis” was recovered during a search of their home this morning.
NDTV reports that Singh was seen being driven away in a red Mercedes, while Limbachiyaa was taken in a white NCB van.
Upon arriving at the NCB Mumbai office, Singh told reporters, “They have called us for some questioning, that’s all.”
Sameer Wankhede, one of the investigating officials was cited in the publication saying, “She (Ms Singh) and her husband have been detained for questioning about possession of narcotics substances.”
