Bharat Ranga promoted at ZEE; changes internationally

ZEE has itself a new international Business Head after Bharat Ranga was promoted to head content at the network. Ranga will be designated as Chief Content and Creative Officer. Under him will fall all the content and cluster heads of the company.

According to IndianTelevision, each international territory head will report directly now to Zeel President Rajesh Jejurikar who joined the company late last year.

Zeel is also planning to expand its production business and has made its national creative director Nittin Keni handle the production initiatives.

Sources suggest that ZEE is planning to delve into TV production and developing it as a separate revenue stream.
