Bhansali Productions set to make sequel to ‘Rowdy Rathore’
Despite earlier speculation that the project may have been shelved, Bhansali Productions is now expected to proceed with a sequel to its 2012 blockbuster, ‘Rowdy Rathore’.
According to a report by India Today, the production house helmed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali is actively developing a slate of new titles, even as Bhansali himself remains occupied with his upcoming film, ‘Love & War’. A source close to the studio told Mid-Day, “Bhansali Productions is actively working on several major projects, including Rowdy Rathore 2. It remains one of the studio’s most prominent franchises, with a strong pan-India following.”
