The much awaited Vidya Balan starrer ‘Begum Jaan’ seems to have landed in a spot of trouble. Due to the issues, the film’s release date has been pushed back.
According to Box Office India, the film’s distributor RNA Play Entertainment has apparently failed to pay their amount owed to producer Mukesh Bhatt on time. With Bhatt now having taking legal action against the company, the initial release date of 14th April will now reportedly be delayed.
The report goes on to state that the producer also wants to take on another corporate company to help release the film.
The film also stars Gauahar Khan and Pallavi Sharda. ‘Begum Jaan’ is a Hindi adaptation of the South film ‘ Rajkahini’ (2015).
