Bebo replaces Deepika Padukone in KJo-Ekta production

The Kareena Kapoor and Deepika Padukone rivalry is perhaps media-created but one can’t help but take notice of the roles both have been associated with. First, Kapoor was to do the female lead in ‘Ram Leela’ but now Padukone is in the film. Similarly, Kapoor – it seems – was first choice for the forthcoming joint venture of Karan Johar and Ekta Kapoor but news was that Padukone had landed that part instead too. However, Kapoor seems to have won the role back.

The role is opposite Emraan Hashmi and it seemed that Johar and Ekta were set in their heads that Bebo would be perfect for the role. However, after her unwillingness in working with Hashmi, Padukone was thought to have stepped into the vacant shoes.

However, it seems Johar and Ekta have reclaimed their rightful first choice and Bebo is back to the role.
