Bebo inspired by female politicans for ‘Satyagrah’

Prakash Jha’s ‘Satyagrah’ will be a political drama as per his signature style. Kareena Kapoor will be seen as the female lead in what should be a very different role to what she has been seen in of late. She may also portray the role of a young Prime Minister and the actress has made known that she take inspiration from internationally renowned female politicans.

As reported by Hindustan Times, an insider divulged, “Bebo�۪s character isn�۪t based on any real life person. But since her role is of a strong and opinionated woman, she wants to watch some documentaries, films and hear fiery speeches to get the hang of what really goes on in the mind of a powerful female personality”.

It is thought that her character’s attitude will be on par with Margaret Thatcher, Benazir Bhutto and also Indira Gandhi. The source went on to reveal, “She won�۪t be copying them, since the role isn�۪t based on any particular personality. The idea is to understand their mannerisms because she wants a very realistic performance”.

Kapoor will be focussing on ‘Satyagrah’ post the release of ‘Heroine’ on her birthday.
