BCCI fails to get sponsor for team kit within deadline

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has failed to get a sponsor for Team India’s kit.
The BCCI had invited bids for the Kit Sponsor and/or the Official Merchandising Partner and various other associated rights (as defined in the ITT).
Earlier reports suggessted that Puma and Adidas may clinch the deal but Exchange4Media reports that has hardly been any interest shown by the brands.
The BCCI is planning to extend the deadline to garner further interest.
