BCCI delays media rights e-auction to April

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has confirmed that it will be delaying the e-auction for media rights of international and domestic matches in India to Tuesday 3rd April.

The Hindu reports that the e-auction, which was scheduled to take place on 27th March, was postponed due to queries from prospective bidders for the digital rights. The BCCI had held a workshop for the online auction process earlier this month.

Star TV India currently holds the India domestic and international cricket rights.
