BBC Asian Network to be available in UK only after BBC Sounds changes
The BBC Asian Network will become a UK-only radio station following the announcement of changes that will geo-block the BBC Sounds service outside of the UK.
As part of the changes revealed today, international audiences will no longer be able to access the BBC Sounds app. Instead, they will need to use BBC.com and the BBC app to continue listening to the broadcaster’s audio content. The audio section on the BBC website will feature a range of current and archived podcasts, along with BBC Radio 4 and World Service radio stations.
