BBC Asian Network to air debate on future

The BBC Asian Network will air a special discussion show today at 13:00 to debate the future of the station.

The programme will be presented by Nihal and will see commercial opposition, Sunrise Radio’s chairman, Dr Avtar Lit air his opinions on where the station is heading.

The debate comes as a slight change to the scheduled show after reports today emerged that the BBC Asian Network was facing the axe next month.
