BBC Asian Network holds special ‘Big Debate’ election special
The BBC Asian Network has hosted a live election special of ‘The Big Debate’.
The live show broadcast this morning between 10:00 – 11:00 was held at London’s Roundhouse with with a panel of politicians answering questions. From terrorism to Brexit to racism, the politicians have taken questions from a live audience of Asian Network listeners.
Politicians who attended the live panel included:
Conservatives – Alok Sharma – Secretary of State for International Development and candidate for Reading West
Labour – Candidate for Slough Tanmanjeet Singh Dhesi
Liberal Democrats – Chuka Umunna, Shadow Foreign Secretary and candidate for Cities of London and Westminster
SNP – Kirsty Blackman SNP Candidate for Aberdeen North and Deputy leader of SNP group in Westminster
Representatives from The Brexit Party, Plaid Cymru and the Green Party continued the discussion back at the studio after 11.00.
