BBC accused of biased EU referendum coverage

BBC
BBC

The BBC has been blasted for its EU referendum coverage in claims made my MPs.

The Sun newspaper reported today that Downing Street aides are rubbing their hands with glee۝. Tory MP Andrew Bridgen has written to BBC News boss James Harding with serious concerns۝ that voters may be influenced.

He said: The BBC is emerging as a cheerleader for those who want to remain in the EU.۝

Tory Steve Baker, added, It is essential for democracy and the credibility of the BBC that our state broadcaster is, and is seen to be, scrupulously impartial.۝

Campaigners against the European Union said that the BBC was giving prominence to pro-Eu guests and criticised the language used by broadcasters.

The BBC said language used by both sides should be clearly analysed.
