The BBC has been blasted for its EU referendum coverage in claims made my MPs.
The Sun newspaper reported today that Downing Street aides are ���rubbing their hands with glee�. Tory MP Andrew Bridgen has written to BBC News boss James Harding with ���serious concerns� that voters may be influenced.
He said: ���The BBC is emerging as a cheerleader for those who want to remain in the EU.�
Tory Steve Baker, added, ���It is essential for democracy and the credibility of the BBC that our state broadcaster is, and is seen to be, scrupulously impartial.�
Campaigners against the European Union said that the BBC was giving prominence to pro-Eu guests and criticised the language used by broadcasters.
The BBC said language used by both sides should be clearly analysed.
