BBC A. Network sets up ‘Tees Maar Khan’ special

BBC Asian Network continues it’s ‘In Conversation with…’ strand next week, when Raj and Pablo speak to three of Bollywood�۪s biggest stars – Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif and Farah Khan.

Filmed in front of a live studio audience at BBC Television Centre, the event, which offers unique opportunities for listeners to get closer to their Bollywood icons, will be recorded on Wednesday 15th December and will broadcast on the BBC Asian Network on Saturday 8th January from 09:00.

Coming together for one of Bollywood�۪s most anticipated action comedy films, ‘Tees Maar Khan’, the station will talk to the stars about filming on set and also hear the stories behind their Bollywood lives and careers.

The event will be filmed and will be available to view online at www.bbc.co.uk/asiannetwork from January.

In 1991, Akshay Kumar became an instant Bollywood favourite with action packed debut ��Saugandh�۪. He�۪s since appeared in more than 90 Hindi films and had comedy success with ��Welcome�۪ and ��Singh is Kinng�۪. British model turned Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif stars alongside Akshay for the sixth time in as many years. New to Indian Cinema in Boom (2003), she�۪s become a popular leading lady after hit films ��Sarkar�۪, ��Namastey London�۪, ��Race�۪ and ��Raajneeti�۪. Farah Khan is best known for choreographing some of Bollywood�۪s most popular song and dance routines from ��Kuch Kuch Hota Hai�۪, ��Dil Chahta Hai�۪ and lately, hit film ��Dabangg�۪. This is her third film as director following hits ��Main Hoon Na�۪ and ��Om Shanti Om�۪.
