Barun Sobti’s much awaited cricket drama ’22 Yards’, which has faced a number of delays in the past, is reportedly getting its release put back again.
Director Mitali Ghosh confirmed that the film could be delayed from its 22nd February 2019 release date. She told Hindustan Times, “Any indie filmmaker’s biggest hurdle is getting the right kind of investor. Everybody thinks yeh saas-bahu ki ladaai jaise hai…”
The trailer of ’22 Yards’ hit the tube nearly two years ago and whilst it was well received by fans, there has been a long wait since any further movement.
Sobti plays a sports agent in the film. Beside this, he has two digital shows ready to launch on VOOT.
