Fans of Star Plus drama ‘Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon’ will be surprised to hear that lead actor, Barun Sobti is considering leaving the show.
According to reports, Sobti has already put his papers in to opt out of the show. If true, then the channel will no doubt question the future of ‘Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon’, which also stars Sanaya Irani. Both Sobti and Irani have fast become one of Indian television’s most popular on screen couples.
Sobti has been working on a film and will be making his debut on screen soon. He is expected to leave the show to concentrate on the film. TellyChakkar reports that as per the track, Khushi will be left waiting in the mandap as she claims that Arnav will come to marry her. We hear that in the coming episodes, Arnav does decide to come to the mandap, but meets with an accident. On the other hand, Khushi will go through a brief low phase with Arnav not turning up to marry her. Once Barun gets back, the marriage of Khushi and Arnav is bound to happen, states a reliable source.
Sobti and Irani have both been confirmed to appear at this year’s Star Parivaar Live show taking place in Birmingham in November.
