Barun Sobti to star in ALTBalaji’s web-series ‘Dysfunctional Family’?

With ALTBalaji pumping in some serious money into its original shows, latest news has it that the production giant has signed television heartthrob, Barun Sobti and Bollywood actor Kay Kay Menon for an interesting concept.

IWM Buzz reports that the ‘Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon’ star will feature in ‘Dysfunctional Family’ – a show based on two brothers and how a disagreement leads to a major family falling out.

Sobti was also seen in web-series ‘Tanhaiyan’. He has had little box office success with his films, which include ‘Main Aur Mr Right’ and ‘Tu Hai Mera Sunday’. His last TV outing ‘Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon – Season 3’ proved a huge disappointment.
