Barun Sobti was banned from using social media during ‘Tu Hai Mera Sunday’

After flying around the world at various film festivals, Milind Dhaimade’s directorial ‘Tu Hai Mera Sunday’ is set for release on the big screen next month.

The two actors in the film Shahana Goswami and Barun Sobti have a great fan following on their social media, this was one of the reasons the production house had requested them to not use their social media on sets. It was a strict rule that no images or anything relevant to the shoots location to be posted on social media.

As one incident happened that they couldn’t control the fan crowd and had to pack up for that day. Problem being was that the film has been shot across several open spaces in Mumbai and real location thus leaving it to be a logistical nightmare to have crowd control. Thus staying away from social media was to control information not being shared of the whereabouts of the cast and crew.

A source reveals, “While shooting on a skywalk bridge in Vile parle one day, several fans gathered for Barun making it tough to shoot as most of the film has been shot in public places. Thus the makers felt it was only right in order to complete the schedule in time to avoid the cast from staying away from social media or posting any image or any information of their whereabouts”.
