Banijay Asia pulls out of producing ‘Bigg Boss’ & ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’ for Colors?
Production powerhouse Banijay Asia has reportedly ceased its involvement in producing future shows for Colors, including the prominent reality series ‘Bigg Boss’ and ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’.
According to reports, internal disputes within Banijay Asia have prompted Endemol to sever its association with the broadcaster. The fallout is said to have originated two months ago, culminating in Banijay Asia’s decision to withdraw from the shows a fortnight ago.
Speculation about the celebrity lineup for this year’s ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’ had been rife in recent weeks. A source revealed, “Several celebrities had already been confirmed, while others were in advanced discussions with the team. However, following the producers’ announcement to the channel (Colors), the confirmed celebrities’ schedules were subsequently released.”
