Bangla TV set for return on Sky Digital?

Bangla TV is set to return to the Sky Digital platform, four months after it abruptly ceased broadcasting.

The free-to-air Bengali entertainment channel is likely to return in May after EPG data testing appeared off the Sky Digital EPG.

BizAsia.co.uk sources have been informed that the channel is returning under new management but a date is yet to be confirmed.

In the meantime, the EPG data testing of Bangla TV can be viewed by manually tuning. Details below of how viewers can tune in:

-> Using your Sky Digi remote, go to Services Menu
-> System Setup (4)
-> Add Channels (4)
-> Enter frequency: 12.560 (V), FEC: 2/3, SR: 27500
-> Find Channels and Press SELECT
-> Highlight “54115” service and press Yellow button.
-> Return to Services Menu
-> Other Channels (6) on STB / (8) on Sky+
-> “54115” should be listed and available
