Bangla actor finalised opposite Deepika Padukone in ��Piku�۪

BizAsia had earlier reported that director Shoojit Sircar had finalised Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone and Irrfan Khan for his next film, ��Piku�۪.�� Confirmation has now come that Bangla actor, Jisshu Sengupta, has been signed opposite Padukone.

The actor, who will also be seen in Yash Raj Films�۪ ��Mardaani�۪, told Bollywood Hungama, ���It�۪s a big break with a director I really admire and with actors I really love.�� It has been my dream to work with Mr. Bachchan from the time I decided I wanted to be an actor.�� Irrfanji is another actor I truly admire.�� As for Deepika, isn�۪t she everyone�۪s favourite dream girl these days?�۝

The film revolves around the story of a father and daughter, being played by Bachchan and Padukone respectively.�� Apparently, the role Padukone will be essaying was earlier offered to Parineeti Chopra, who refused it due to date issues.

��Piku�۪ has been written by Juhi Trivedi, who also wrote Sircar�۪s ��Vicky Donor�۪ (2012), and will start shooting in the next couple of months.
