Bailable warrant issued for Kangana Ranaut in defamation case

In a defamation case laid forth by Javed Akhtar, there’s been a bailable warrant issued for Kangana Ranaut by Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Andheri.

According to E Times, Ranaut was asked to appear in court today, 1st March, in the case where Akhtar had alleged that Ranaut had mentioned his name when talking about “coterie” in Bollywood in a number of television interviews. He filed a case against the actress in November 2020.

The complaint also alleged that Ranaut had accused Akhtar of threatening her to keep silent in relation to her relationship with Hrithik Roshan.
