Back to back triangular series cricket on Sony

Sony Entertainment Television Asia (SET Asia) has won exclusive rights to broadcast the triangular cricket series this summer.

The live cricket between India, Sri Lanka and West Indies followed by India, New Zealand & Zimbabwe will be shown in August. Rajan Singh, Executive Vice President, International Business commented, ?Sony has a history of showing top quality cricket on a consistent basis and once again our viewers will be treated to the very best by some of the top teams from around the world. There is little secret of the popularity that the one-day game possesses with cricket fans and there is no doubt that these two summer tournaments will be great entertainment.

The anticipation to the triangular series is at fever pitch and this has been escalated even further with the arrival of India?s new coach, the legendary Australian captain – Greg Chappell for whom the triangular series featuring Sri Lanka and West Indies will be his first. Taking place in Sri Lanka, the series also features the ICC Champions Trophy winners ? the West Indies and the former World Cup winners, Sri Lanka.

The series will span over two weeks starting on the 30th of July and will consist of six one-day internationals followed by the final. The schedule is as follows:

July 30: India v Sri Lanka (Dambulla)
July 31: India v West Indies (Dambulla)
Aug. 2: Sri Lanka v West Indies (Dambulla)
Aug. 3: Sri Lanka v India (Dambulla)
Aug. 6: West Indies v Sri Lanka (Colombo)
Aug. 7: West Indies v India (Colombo)
Aug. 9: Final (Colombo)

Play each day starts at 09:25 and ends at 17:30 (BST).
